Josephine Pryde was born in 1967 in Alnwick, United Kingdom. Her most recent exhibition was in 2008 at Galerie Bleich-Rossi and Galerie Gabriele Senn, Vienna with Sarah Staton: How They Met: Part 1 – Mother and Her House and How They Met: Part 2 – Sex.
Josephine Pryde has exhibited in North America with Reena Spaulings Fine Art, New York and in Europe with Galerie Neu, Berlin and Galerie Christian Nagel, Cologne. Since 2008, she has been Professor for Contemporary Photography at the University of the Arts, Berlin. This is Josephine Pryde’s first solo exhibition in Los Angeles.
